This morning was a special one for me as I had the privilege of playing at St. Peter’s Parish Church in Stockport for the very first time. Not only was this my debut in this beautiful venue, but I was also fortunate to perform alongside Andrew Moody and Kieran Eastwood Mulvaney—both wonderful musicians.
A Stunning Venue with a Remarkable Organ
St. Peter’s is a church rich in history and charm, and stepping inside, I immediately felt a sense of awe. The acoustics are fantastic, offering a wonderful setting for music. For this performance, I had the opportunity to play the Copeman Hart Digital Organ housed within the church. This instrument is truly impressive, offering a depth and richness of sound that filled the space beautifully.
A Warm Welcome
One of the highlights of the morning was the warm reception from the parish community. There’s something special about playing in a place where music is so deeply appreciated, and St. Peter’s certainly has that atmosphere. The audience was engaged, and it was a pleasure to share music in such an inspiring setting.
Coffee Morning at St. Peter’s
If you’d like to experience the charm of St. Peter’s yourself, I highly recommend attending one of their coffee mornings, held on the second Saturday of each month. These events not only provide a chance to enjoy a relaxed morning with good company and refreshments, but they also play an important role in raising funds for the church.
Looking Forward
Playing at St. Peter’s was a wonderful experience, and I hope to return in the future. A big thank you to Andrew, Kieran, and everyone who made this morning so enjoyable. If you ever get the chance to visit St. Peter’s—whether for a service, a concert, or a coffee morning—I highly encourage you to do so!
