My Brand Colour – Born on the Dye Range I Work On

When I started thinking about a colour to represent my brand, I didn’t want to just pick something from a chart. I wanted it to have a story—something real and meaningful. That’s why I chose Nattex Gold, a bold and bright shade used in the fabric worn by Australian Fire Fighters.

The Start of the Dyeing Process of Nattex Gold

This colour is special to me because it’s dyed on the very machine I work on every day.

The process starts with a reactive dye, which bonds strongly to the cotton-rich fabric, giving it long-lasting colour. After dyeing, the fabric goes through other  stages before  Finally, it’s waterproofed to make sure it can stand up to tough conditions.

It’s more than just a colour. For me, Nattex Gold represents hard work, purpose, and pride—all things I want my brand to reflect. It’s not just a colour on a screen—it’s something real, made with care and skill.
