A Fun-Filled Day at Plopsaland De Panne: Rides, Magic and Buffet Delights

Yesterday, we spent the day at Plopsaland De Panne, and I’m still buzzing from the excitement. From thrilling roller coasters to a mouth-watering buffet lunch, it was one of those perfect days that felt like a mini holiday. Whether you’re into adrenaline-packed rides or magical themed attractions, this place has something for everyone. Here’s a look at our fun-packed adventure.

Kicking Off with Rides and Laughter

As soon as we stepped into the park, the bright colors, happy music, and cheerful characters instantly put us in a good mood. We wasted no time and jumped right into the rides.

The Ride to Happiness

This one definitely lived up to its name. A high-speed spinning coaster themed by Tomorrowland, The Ride to Happiness took us on an intense, twisty journey with epic music playing in the background. With two launches and several loops, it was a total rush. One of the best coasters I’ve ever been on.

Anubis: The Ride

Next up was Anubis. This launched coaster hits top speed in seconds and flips you upside down three times. It’s fast, smooth, and the Egyptian theme just adds to the thrill. Total adrenaline hit.

Heidi The Ride

If you love classic wooden coasters, Heidi The Ride is a must. The rickety sounds and swooping drops were so much fun, and the theming around the Swiss Alps was adorable.

K3 Roller Skater

We toned it down with the K3 Roller Skater—perfect for younger visitors and those of us who needed a breather after the bigger rides. It’s colorful, smooth, and brings all the nostalgic vibes from the popular K3 girl group.

SuperSplash

Need a cool down? SuperSplash is the answer. This water coaster lifts you up and then sends you plunging into a splash pool. Let’s just say we didn’t leave this one dry.

La Forêt de Plop

For something slower and magical, La Forêt de Plop was a whimsical boat ride through a gnome forest. Super charming and perfect for a relaxing moment.

Buffet Lunch at the Hotel

By noon, we were starving. Thankfully, we had booked a buffet lunch at the Plopsa Hotel, and it was such a treat.

The restaurant was spacious, modern, and family-friendly, with a huge variety of dishes. From fresh salads and hot pasta to roasted meats, grilled veggies, and kid-friendly options like nuggets and fries—it had everything. And the dessert section? Cakes, fruit, and Belgian waffles. Absolute heaven.

To top it off, a few of the Plopsa characters made a surprise appearance, waving to the kids and posing for photos. It added that extra touch of magic to an already wonderful lunch.

Wrapping Up with a Few More Attractions

After lunch, we strolled around the park and hopped on a few more rides, like the Plopsa Express train that gives a scenic tour of the park. We also couldn’t resist the classic double-decker Carrousel, which brought out everyone’s inner child.

Final Thoughts

Plopsaland De Panne isn’t just a theme park—it’s an experience. Between the mix of high-speed rides, beautifully themed areas, and that incredible buffet, our day was nothing short of amazing. Whether you’re traveling with kids, friends, or just looking for a fun day out, I can’t recommend it enough.

I’m already thinking about our next visit.
