A New Home for a Nostalgic Instrument

Dear Friends

As many of you are aware by seeing my setup on livestream or during live performance you’ll notice that it has a very unique appearance. It looks like something that I just through together and had done with it. Well that’s exactly what it is.  I built my setup during the COVID lockdown and used pretty much any item I had lying around my home. It works and works well.

My HE6 that I use is now getting extremely old dating back to the early 1980s. I have been getting to the stage where I think it does need to go into storage for just concerts as it’s lightweight and portable, but more importantly to ensure it doesn’t break during rehearsals at home. These instruments are very hard to find these days.

So what’s my plan

Well move forward a decade to the 1990s, 1991 to be precise and the launch of the Yamaha Electone EL90. This will now be my home instrument but don’t worry the tyros 4 will still be the star of the show.

What does this mean?

Well I’m pleased to say that it’s another instrument I can use during my livestream.

That’s all for today. I look forward to sharing it with you soon.
