At the moment I’m working on an orchestral instrumental cover of “Mad World” the timeless classic by Tears for Fears.
This song has such an emotional weight to it in my opinion.
I’ve been building the arrangement using my Yamaha Tyros 4 layering strings, woodwinds and subtle brass to create a lush, atmospheric version that captures the soul of the original while giving it a new orchestral voice. I’ve even included a soft piano in it as well.
This version will feature for the first time at my upcoming concert in Cardiff next month.
