A Shoutout to My Fellow Musicians at the Stockport Organ & Keyboard Club

As I sit and reflect on my journey in music, I can’t help but feel a deep sense of appreciation for a very special group of people — my fellow members of the Stockport Organ & Keyboard Club.

I’ve now been a member for almost six years, and what a journey it’s been. Over that time, I’ve seen so many of you grow — not just as musicians, but as performers, creators, and as friends. The progress everyone has made is nothing short of inspiring. Whether it’s someone nailing a piece they’ve been working on for months, experimenting with new sounds, or just having the confidence to play in front of a crowd for the first time — it all deserves recognition.

There’s a kind of magic in what we do as a club. It’s not just about the music (although the music is fantastic). It’s about the support, the encouragement, the shared laughs, and those quiet nods of appreciation when someone plays something that really moves you.

To all of you at the club — you deserve a lot of credit. For showing up. For putting yourselves out there. For learning, improving, and sharing your talents with all of us. It’s been a joy to watch your journeys, and I feel lucky to be part of it.

So here’s to more music, more growth, and many more years of playing together. You all inspire me more than you know.
