This past week, I had the pleasure of returning to Cardiff Keyboard Club for my second visit – and I have to say, it was just as memorable as the first. There’s always something special about this club. The atmosphere, the people, and the sense of community make it a real highlight on my calendar.
From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with smiles, friendly conversation, and a genuine buzz of excitement. It’s always a joy to walk into a room where everyone is so clearly there to enjoy themselves and support live performance.
The feedback I received throughout the evening was truly heartwarming. Many people told me how much they enjoyed the show, with one gentleman saying, “You’ve really made our night!” which is always lovely to hear.

What stood out most was how welcoming and appreciative the audience was. Conversations during the interval and after the concert were full of kind words, encouragement, and a real sense of connection. It reminded me why I love doing what I do.
I had to have a selfie with the Clubs mascot Gracie. She loved the selection of Disney tunes I played for her and the music from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
A big thank you to the organisers for inviting me back, and to everyone who came along and made the evening so special. I hope to see you all again soon

A video of the event will be coming soon to my YouTube channel – so keep an eye out if you’d like to relive the evening or see what it was all about.
Also a massive thank you to Huw Crabb for the photos and for Alun Jeffrey’s for recording the evening and for also looking after the sound for me
