An Evening at Stockport Organ & Keyboard Club with Lewis Scott

Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the Stockport Organ & Keyboard Club, where I enjoyed a fantastic evening of live music performed by the talented Lewis Scott. He took to the stage with the impressive Roland Atelier organ, treating us to a wide-ranging repertoire that showcased both the instrument’s capabilities and his own remarkable skills.

One of the highlights of the evening was his rendition of music from Beauty and the Beast which was beautifully played and full of emotion. It’s always a joy to hear well-known melodies performed live, and Lewis brought a real sense of charm to the Disney classic.

Another standout moment was his performance of John Williams’ famous score from E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.  The music transported us straight back to the magic of the film, with its soaring melodies and cinematic grandeur filling the room. Hearing such a powerful orchestral piece recreated on the organ was truly something special.

Throughout the night, Lewis played a fantastic selection of music, appealing to all tastes and keeping the audience thoroughly entertained. His ability to bring each piece to life was impressive, and it’s clear that he has a deep passion for what he does.

Stockport Organ & Keyboard Club always puts on great events, and this was certainly no exception. The atmosphere was welcoming, and it was wonderful to spend an evening surrounded by fellow music enthusiasts.

Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable night, and I look forward to the next event. If you ever get the chance to see Lewis Scott perform, I’d highly recommend it!
